Brutal, destructive and unceasing. Trolls are large, vile creatures. They may have patchy fur, any number of diseases, and be any colour that can look disgusting.
The cruel. Dark green-grey skin. Cunning enough to forge weapons, and other gear of war, and violent enough to be quite practiced at it.
The slow crushing power of the earth. Ranging in size from the comparatively small ogres who prey on travellers in the wilderness [poss. ogre bandit 'kingdoms?], to the Icegard of the glaciers, and the stone giants of the great mountains who battle endlessly against the sky titans among the clouds. The devastation that giants can cause often brings them into conflict with other races, particularly gnomes (who have a great deal more respect for the earth).

Trickery and sneaking are the goblins weapons. Their small size and the unusual pallor of their skin gives them +1 to avoid being seen in twilight or worse. Some goblins band together to trouble other races, while the more adventurous may strike out on their own to cause mischief. A goblins mental strength must be higher than it's physical strength unless it's physical strength is zero.
Treachery and knives in the back. Sometimes known as 'Dark Elves'. Somewhat more organised than other Fey Demons, hobgoblins are known to build their own permanent settlements, though these will have a very specific purpose such as guarding a valuable resource or strategic location. The 'Court of the New King' is rumoured to be a vast hobgoblin city with a population of hundreds of thousand. This is considered a myth by most scholars.
Deciet, lures, and traps.
Sometimes wander into the mists. And perhaps from there to #therealworld#.. They are too horrifying to know, and should never be seen by anyone. Some weaker ones succumb to the physical world as they approach it through the mists and become monsters - cockatrice, manticore, etc. The more powerful void demons may or may not have shape or form, as they see fit. They are all insane beyond the imagining of even other demons.
