STATISTIC POINTS BUY #change this title
Players have a number of points to spread amongst their stats. 9 will produce a character of typical sort for their race. 20?22? or higher will produce epic heroes. Playtesting suggests 12?15? makes for a good game.
The total of a feys physical and mental stats may not exceed the equivalent spiritual stat.
Humans and earth races may not spend more on a spiritual stat than the total of their physical and mental stats.
#how to differentiate races? is it necessary given the above?
STATISTIC GENERATION METHOD 1
stats are generated by rolling a number of d6s (typically 6d6) for each stat, getting one point in that stat for each '6' rolled.
Race PS PE PA MS ME MA SS SE SA
Human 6 6 6 6 6 6 6 6 6
Dwarf 7 9 5 6 6 5 6 6 6
Halfling 4 7 9 5 6 6 6 6 6

Giants 12 10 2 1 6 2 6 6 6
STATISTIC GENERATION METHOD 2
Roll a d20 on the following chart for each stat:
Roll Stat
1-7 0
8-14 1
15-17 2
18-19 3
20 4
Races other than human may have a bonus to the stat. This bonus applies to the stat value, not to the d20 roll.

STATISTIC GENERATION METHOD 3 (WITHOUT PENALTIES VARIANT)
2d3-2
STATISTIC GENERATION METHOD 3 (WITH-PENALTIES VARIANT)
stats are rolled using +d4-d4, ie. a d4 is rolled to determine a value, and another is rolled and subtracted from that value. GMs desiring a more heroic level of play may substitute a d6 when rolling the initial value. If this is done d8s should be used when d6s would have been normally.
Halflings use d6 for the PA plus die
Dwarves use d6 for the PE plus die
Gnomes use d6 for the PS plus die
Trolls use d8 for the PE plus die, d6 for PS, and
Orcs use d6 for the PE plus die
Giants use d8 for the PS plus die
